The Dawn Redwood 9 Tree Forest Group is the most exciting of the redwoods. It is a native of Manchuria China and was thought to be extinct, but rediscovered in the 1940s.

The Dawn Redwood is a true redwood. Like all redwoods, they are a living fossil, an isolated "relic" species from a long time ago when dinosaurs roamed the earth.

    Great arrangement

    Great little forest. Looks good. Hope it can survive our heat. We're on the edge, but thought we'd give a try.
    These are supposed to do well inside for while if too hot outside during the summer, but we have a room that can give it lots of light.
    Never had a dawn redwood. New to my wife. She's been doing bonsai for a lot of years.
