Description
‘Hime shojo’ has small lobed palmate red-variegated burgundy foliage which emerges cherry red in spring, and turns to an outstanding Maroon in the fall.
'Hime' refers to the smaller leaves, while 'shojo' describes its deep maroon summer color.
Deciduous - Keep outdoors.
15 years old, 18-19" tall.
Note: May be shipped with mature, turning and transitioning foliage in late summer (August), this is a normal, annual process as the tree prepares for dormancy. May be shipped with no foliage during autumn and winter. Tree will emerge from dormancy and re-grow foliage in early Spring.
