This tree is native to Manchuria China and was thought to be extinct until it was re-discovered in the 1940s.
The Redwood Bonsai Tree is a true Redwood and is a living fossil. This tree is an isolated "relic" species from a long time ago and is very rare.
In the fall, the light green sprays turn yellow, then bronze, and fall off. Only the Larches do that.
Keep outdoors. 5-tree group, each between 5-8 years old, 22" tall.
