This adorable miniature evergreen tree is a member of the mallow family native to tropical regions of Mexico and Cuba.
Commonly called Turk's Cap and Cardinals Hat because the flower petals only partially unfurl, producing narrow funnel-shaped bright red flowers year round when kept warm.
Immature fruit is green and deep red when mature.
Great indoor flowering bonsai tree that blooms easily during the growing season.
