Where We Ship From
Green Bonsai orders are fulfilled and shipped by our nursery partner in New York, United States.
We currently ship within the United States only. We do not ship internationally, including to Canada and Mexico, due to agricultural restrictions.
Packaging
Live bonsai trees require special care during shipping. We use high-quality packaging materials designed to protect trees and other products during transit while allowing live trees to breathe.
Processing & Shipping Times
We ship Monday through Friday using several carriers and shipping methods to minimize the amount of time live trees spend in transit without sunlight and water.
Orders received before 1:00 PM Eastern Time generally ship the same business day. Orders received after 1:00 PM generally ship the following business day.
Certain larger or one-of-a-kind trees may ship the following Monday depending on the destination, size, and weight of the order.
Most orders are shipped with the goal of arriving before the end of the current week, including Saturday when carrier service is available.
Winter Shipping
During colder months, shipping may occasionally be delayed to help protect the health of live bonsai trees.
Weather conditions and temperatures may affect the safest available shipping date. We prioritize the condition of the tree when determining when an order should ship.
Carriers & Tracking
We use multiple shipping carriers depending on the order and destination. USPS Priority Mail may be used for certain shipments when it provides faster or more appropriate delivery.
Once your order ships, tracking information will be sent to the email address provided with your order.
Shipping Address
Please make sure your shipping address is complete and accurate, including any company, suite, floor, apartment, or unit number where applicable.
While we validate addresses to the best of our ability before shipment, carriers may charge an $18 address correction fee for incomplete or incorrect delivery information. We reserve the right to pass this fee on to the customer when it is charged to us.
Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico & U.S. Virgin Islands
Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands may be subject to an additional $15 shipping surcharge.
Special Delivery Requests
If you need your order to arrive around a particular date or have special delivery instructions, please contact us at support@green-bonsai.com before ordering or as soon as possible after placing your order.
We will do our best to accommodate special delivery requests when reasonably possible, but specific delivery dates cannot be guaranteed.
