Risk Free Guarantee
Ordering from us is risk-free. If you are not satisfied with your tree when you receive it, return it within 1 week of receipt and we will provide you with a replacement, exchange or full refund. The return policy is not valid in case of damage by the customer.
A 20% restocking charge will apply when trees or hard goods purchased in error are returned to us for credit or exchange.

Packaging

Along with our proven pick, pack and ship operation, Green Bonsai uses the finest packaging materials available to assure that your live tree and products are not damaged by the carrier while allowing trees to breathe in en route. 

Shipping Times

We ship Monday through Friday utilizing several carriers and methods to automatically minimize the time live trees are in transit without sun & water.  We generally ship same day for orders received before 1pm Eastern, otherwise the following business day. 

Larger, more expensive “one of a kind” trees might be shipped the FOLLOWING Monday depending on your proximity to New York and the size/weight of your order, however, we ship most trees to ARRIVE before the end of the current week (including Saturday).

Shipping Times During the Winter

Please note that during the winter months, there may be occasional delays in shipping to ensure the safe and healthy arrival of your bonsai tree.

We prioritize the well-being of these delicate trees during colder temperatures, which might affect transit times.

We appreciate your understanding and patience as we strive to deliver your bonsai in optimal condition.

Double-check Your Shipping Address

Please ensure the delivery address you provide is accurate including Company, Suite, Floor, Apartment and Unit numbers as applicable.  While we validate and correct addresses to the best of our ability before shipment, carriers will charge $15 to correct missing or incorrect delivery information and we reserve the right to collect that charge (only when imposed on us.)

Shipping Tracking Code

If you provide a valid email address, a tracking number will be sent to that email address after the close of business on the day your order is shipped.

Note that we may utilize USPS Priority Mail to provide faster service for certain shipments.  

International Shipments

We cannot ship internationally (including Canada and Mexico) due to agricultural restrictions.
